Good question.... i would think that jackets were invented at the same time as clothes were (which was in the garden on Eden after Adam and Eve sinned)
Jeans, jean pants, jean shirts, jean jackets, shoes, almost anything
Jackets were inverted long before recorded history, so there is no way of knowing who was the first. No one really knows who invented the jacket. People (when they started wearing clothes) have always realised that in different times of weather need different clothes....so when you ask who invented the jacket....we don't know!!! the jacket is the American and now everyday saying of a jumper or a layer to go over you tee-shirt! So there really isn't a specific person who invented the ''Jacket''
Yes, life jackets are designed to save life regardless of how deep the water is. Lifejackets will float well in any depth of water.
Jean jackets are made of the same material as jeans which is denim. The fabric is specifically called serge because it originated from a family whose surname is serge.
