I believe it was Martin Van Buren. I know he was against slavery, and did not want any terriories to become states that aloud slavery.

Slavery has not been abolished though some countries have made it illegal.
Slavery should not be aloud because I think that's just wrong, unfair, and racist because people are not property and deserve a life. There is no reason for slavery.
