Yes
You're referring to a helicopter gunship. Made popular in Vietnam, the French actually employed them first, mounting weapons onto H-21 and H-19 helicopters to provide close air support. This was done as the lighter helicopters of the time did not have enough power to sufficiently mount and carry weapons. These came about before dedicated attack helicopters made their appearance, and were replaced in the gunship role by those dedicated attack helicopters.
The role of the attack helicopters in the first gulf war was to destabilize the foot soldiers of the Iraqis with a view to providing a leeway for the advancement of the Allied Forces foot soldiers

Some are, yes, but not all of them. Military attack helicopters tend to be the fastest. The average speed of a formula 1 car is 230 MPH. The average speed of an Apache attack helicopter is 365 MPH.
There is no actual fighter helicopter. The closest thing is attack helicopters such as Apache.
Attack helicopters usually have only 2 seats, Pilot and Gunner.
I think you get it when you manage to call in 2 Attack Helicopters in 1 match.
The Marine Corps operates 12% of all US Fighter and Attack Aircraft and 19% of all Attack Helicopters.
Japan wanted to be like the European countries and control needed resources. They wanted to control the entire Pacific region.
There are no "fighter helicopters" - helicopters have engaged in combat against each other, but there are none designed with air-to-air combat as their intended function. The current inventory includes 20 Mil Mi-25 attack/cargo helicopters (which are about to be replaced with AH-64 Apaches), 7 HAL Rudra attack helicopters (out of 38 ordered), 3 HAL Light Combat Helicopters (out of 65 ordered), over 300 variations of the Mil Mi-8 cargo helicopter (which can be armed and used as gunships).. nothing specifically designed as a "fighter" helicopter, though.
