the Vietnam War.
Living conditions in Vietnam are not very well in rural areas (3/4 of the country). There are some lack of food, housing, medicines, and consumer goods. Vietnam has one of the highest populatios in the world for it's country's size, and a lot of adults(age 18 and above) are semi-unemployed.
The 26th Amendment to the United States Constitution which lowered the voting age from 21 to 18 was connected to the Vietnam War because the average age of a soldier in Vietnam was about 19, the argument was that if they could fight and die for their country at 18 and 19 they should be able vote.
Only 1 political party is legal in Vietnam and that party is Communist. There are other parties but they are not legal within the country. The voting rights in Vietnam are very similar to those in the United States; you must be at least 18 years of age.
The voting age used to be 21. but the government changed it to 18 during the Vietnam war because many 18 - 20 year olds were sent into the war to fight, and it was only fair that they got a say in the next leader of their country since they were serving their country (the USA)
The average age of the US GI was 19 years of age. The average draftee in Vietnam averaged between 19 and 26 years of age.
They were old enough to die for their country; but not old enough to vote. Over 11,000 US teenagers died in Vietnam. None were allowed to vote. The US adult age was lowered from 21 to 18.
Manchuria was valuable during the imperialistic age and today, albeit less so, because it is rich in deposits of metal ore.
