it depends on how much gravy granules you put in when it was hot. the thicker the gravy was when it was hot determines the solidity of the gravy when its cold. it will never be completely solid but stodgy.
You might want to look inside the container. I once found an old container and there were really tiny bugs crawling around inside. They were so small and so hard to see, you really had to look hard. Put me off chicken gravy granules for good
I have just telephoned OXO about why their gravy granules have disappeared from the supermarket shelves. The reason is that the supermarkets' own brands are being promoted. Apparently, Oxo were going to stop making them until a wholesaler came along with a huge order. They are now sold in Wilkinson Stores and also Poundstretchers and other discount food stores.

They definitely used to for a limited time across the country, but as far as I can tell it was a flop - I remember McDonald's gravy as being really thin, almost a red colour, kind of spicy, not the thick brown gravy you'd typically put on something like poutine. Even if there's no fries and gravy nationwide, I know that in Quebec they definitely offer poutine, so by extension I guess you could get it without cheese and just have fries and gravy.
