The USMC has twice the machines and hardware than the entire British armed forces.
As for nukes, the UK has 300 and the USA has over 9,000. The only countries that could give the USA hell is China and Russia. The UK would be an easy task for the USA. Just starve the island nation without an invasion force with the Worlds most powerful Navy.
