Courage means going against your fear and anger to do that which is scary and tough to do. All of the military men on all sides around the globe showed courage as they fought against fierce enemies. The Japanese and Nazis were exceptionally good warriors. They were hard to defeat and repel. They both had experience in war whereas the Americans did not along with many other Allies. The Brits had some experience but not the amount the Japanese and Nazis had.
