How much would it cost to go on a celebrity cruise?

The Caribbean offers some of the least expensive cruises available! You should check with a qualified travel agent or online at wholesaler websites such as Expedia, Priceline and Orbitz to see what offers are available around the time you wish to sail. Just avoid Hurricane Season, April - October. Caribbean cruises can be especially economical if you live near enough port that you don't have to fly to get there.

What is the cheapest cruise line?

Cruise lines are very competitive, and a lot of the cost depends on the itinerary. Europe, for example is very expensive for all cruise lines because their revenues come in the form of the weak dollar but their expenses (fuel, provisions, tours, etc.) are paid in Euro. Traditionally, Bahamas and Caribbean cruises are the least expensive. As far as cruise lines, you shoukd shop around on wholesaler websites like Orbitz, Expedia and Travelocity among others. Also, calling the cruise line directly as the cruise approaches (within 45 days od sailing) can reveal some great deals. As far as less expensive cruise lines with great itineraries, I recommend NCL, Royal Caribbean or Carnival.

What are closed loop cruises?

Cruises that begin and end at the same port in the United States are considered closed-loop. The cruise must also include a visit to at least one foreign port in the Western Hemisphere. For example, a cruise that sails from Port Canaveral, visits the southern Caribbean and returns to Port Canaveral is considered a closed-loop cruise. A repositioning or Panama Canal cruise is not closed-loop because the cruise begins and ends in different cities.

What website has the least expensive price for all cruises?

Many web sites offer special deals on cruises and no one site has the "least expensive price for all cruises." Which has the lowest price really depends on what cruise line you would like and any special sales or special offers at the time you book your cruise. If you narrow down your choice to one or two cruise lines and one or two destinations, it will be easier to find and compare the prices. Be especially careful to make sure that the newly implemented fuel surcharge has been included in the total cost or you'll be in for a very unpleasant surprise when you board the ship.
