I use filtration. But I also have a dedicated jet for my Polaris. If you do not have enough pressure try recirculate or try blanking one of your jets off. Either should work
how do you hook up the cleaner to salt water pool pump
Poolerific! (...Warning this is not a real brand
No. generally a booster pump is used to run a pressure side cleaner.
Use your winter pool cover pump and mount it to the top step. I only use this when I am leaving town and expecting rain.
You may try a suction side pool cleaner. Connects into the skimmer. No booster pump needed. Pool Vac, Kreepy Krauly are but a few.
Low suction from your pump, damaged hose,
There is an insert that goes into the large surface skimmer that includes a net filter bag. A vacuum hose goes on the insert and the other end on the vacuum. I use a little shark automatic cleaner with mine. Works great!
I've been in the pool business for 19 years. All that's necessary is a couple of simple, inexpensive changes in the pump room and the wall return. We make this change frequently in the industry.
THis indicates that the pump is struggling to push water through a dirty bed of sand when on filter. When on recirculate, the water bypasses the sand and flows through the valve back to the pool. Change your sand or run a cleaner through it.
None unless you have a leak.
A pool vacuum leak could mean that there is a leak in the vacuum hose that you use to vac the pool. Or it could mean that there is a leak on the suction side of the pump. It could be located somewhere between the skimmer and the inlet of the pump. At the pump it could mean that there is a leak at the pump seal or the pump lid or a pump gasket. Some of these leaks will not produce water at those leaks they may only suck air into the system. k
I have a backwash setting on my sand filter. You can also add a sand cleaner in the bottom skimmer of the pump. After backwashing, it is recommended that you also rinse the head.
