The number one cylinder on a V-4 Johnson outboard is the upper most cylinder. On the 112 model, number one is the top cylinder on the starboard, (right hand), bank, standing behind the engine looking at the spark plugs.

The Evinrude 88 hp outboard requires a 50:1 ratio, one pint of 2 cycle oil, to six gallons of fuel.
Sticker says 100:1 but they backed off that. 50:1 is right.
