from personal experience from raising a baby hawk i fed it rabbit meat, i shot hares on our farm and cut it up into little peices, feed it with a chop stick to start off with just stick the meat onto the chopstick and SLOWLY move forward towards it's mouth until the hawk is about to grab it then stop and let it come towards the chopstick this means that the neck will stretch wich is good for the young if you are like most people and don't live near on on a farm use mince, i dont recomend this as it is processed and has alot if fat in it and baby hawks need protein and rich meat when they're young

have the hawk in a box large enough for it to go to one side to the other to execise it,it will fall over alot/all of the time because they're arnt meant to walk they're meant to latch onto small sticks also when feeding its always good to make a distintive noise when feeding your baby hawk like sucking your teeth over and over again this means that when it learns this noise it will know when it is feeding time
also these birds are very terrortorial and will stick with you when theyre are grown up
