Plants are affected by ozone pollution. It even kills plankton.
There can be many things to prevent ozone pollution. Less CFC's and ground pollution can cause ozone pollution reduction.
soil will be dry then plants will die
it could kill them thrugh breathing problems or heart problems
Ozone is toxic to plants, and plants exposed to ozone have stunted growth. Ozone directly affects the breathing structures in plants, much as it does for lung tissue. If they cannot respire correctly / easily, they die. Ozone is mixed with irrigation water, and sprinkled directly on the roots of things like cucumbers for control of nematodes (not done continuously... just once-a-week or so). Marigolds will produce ozone when predators attack its roots.
The ozone layer can be protected. It can be done so by avoiding CFC's.
Humans are doing things that make more ozone in the troposphere, where it damages plants, animals and humans. Primarily, this is done by combusting fuels in air, which produces NOx. NOx can be converted into ozone, and either is bad. Humans are doing things that make for less ozone between us and Earth's surface, which lets more UV-B reach Earth's surface, damaging the DNA of all surface life on Earth. There are many human-sourced causes, including adding water vapor to the air, warming the thermocline that should keep water vapor out of the ozone layer, and adding chemicals that contain chlorine and bromine to the air (they are so stable only the intense radiation of the ozone layer can break them down, and they help destroy ozone then).
To protect ozone , CFC's are being curbed. They are the ones that deplete ozone.
To protect ozone, we have to curb CFC's. They react with ozone to deplete it.
Ozone depletion can be avoided. This can be done by curbing CFC's.
Ozone is protecting our environment. It is done by blocking the UV.
The ozone is a tri atomic gas of oxygen. It occurs in the ozone layer where absorption of UV is done.
To help the ozone, CFC's must be curbed. They are the ones that destroy ozone.
