Lived here my whole life(34 yrs) and never had a true good snowfall that actually stuck for more than a few minutes...Dec 23?1990 snow flurries much of evening hrs, but not sticking to ground, Dec.7? 1998 flurries for about 15 mins stuck to ground in north valley and on camelback mtn for few hrs...3-4 times since then cave creek/carefree/north scottsdale area has had small, quick snowfalls but nothing much to write about for the Phx areas that I consider a real snowfall
It is a very rare occurence for it to snow in Phoenix, Arizona. There have been a few times in the past century where it snowed in Phoenix but it almost never happens.

Flagstaff, Arizona(located in Northern Arizona) actually gets 100 inches of snow a year because of its elevation of 6000+ft.
