The Revolutionary War began about 1776, when the French and Spanish joined the war, and the war ended October, 1781 when a British General surrendered knowing that the war was over.
Veterans Day does not honor wars. Veterans Day is one day a year to honor all the military veterans who served this country, from the Revolutionary War until now, in peacetime and in war.
