French children have all of wednesdsay off school so that they can go to church. Because of this they have to go into school on Saturday mornings, and any detentions are held on Saturday afternoons, after everybody else has left.
At school French teens only go to school half of the day on Wednesday, and they also go to school on Saturday for half of the day also.
In the United States, most schools are closed on national holidays, so children get the day off.
they had to come to school every day with only i day off
Yes, it is common for French children to attend school for four days a week. The school week in France typically runs from Monday to Friday, with Wednesday often being a day off for students. However, this may vary depending on the specific school and region.
Usually on saturdays. Wednesdays for younger children.
French children enjoy many sports, the most popular include: basketball, le foot ( american soccer) and rugby, also judo, which is a mix of martial arts and wrestling. Schools in france are based around learning. so after school activities aren't usually run through school. Lots of french children get Wednesdays off or half the day off, which allows time for sports , I hope this helps:)
Yes, children in the UK were given a day off school for Queen Elizabeth II's coronation on June 2, 1953. The event was a significant national celebration, and schools were closed to allow families to participate in festivities. Similarly, for King Charles III's coronation in May 2023, schools also had a day off to mark the occasion.
Some school districts have a "take your kid to work" day. One day out of each year, students from grade nine get to take the day off from school to accompany their parents at the workplace.
No, they go everyday but Sunday, and have Wednesday afternoon off.
The school must legally give a kid a day off school for grieving (if he/she asks for it)
The thing that special about a day off is that we don't go to school we get to relax
It actually depends on the schools and on the age group. At primary school the teachers do what they want so they can have 30 minutes of maths, 2 hours of French etc... But the school day often starts at 8.30am and ends at 4.30pm (5.30 is common for teenagers), with one or two hours for lunch. The older you get, the more classes you get. But I reckon the average must be 7 lessons of 50/55 minutes in a normal schoolday (Wednesday afternoons are off so that'd be 3 or 4 lessons only on a Wednesday).
