Every day is a day of worship for Muslims. They are obligated to pray five times a day, every day, even when they are sick. Only women, when they are in their menses (periods) they are exempted from ritual prayers. Special prayer times are during the month of Ramadan when you have to fast for the whole month, from dawn till dusk. In Ramadan, there a very special night of worship, which the Quran describes as the night equivalent to a thousand months. Its exact date has not been revealed, but those who find it and pray in that night, are equal to those who prayed continuously for a thousand months. Also when Muslims go on pilgrimage to Makkah (Mecca), this is a very special prayer event. All well-off Muslims who can afford it, are obligated to make the pilgrimage to Makkah (Mecca) at least once in their life-time. Also in Islam, every good deed a person does is like prayer. Even having sex with your spouse is a form of prayer. Giving charity is prayer. Fighting temptations is prayer. There are two very special days of celebration for Muslims, when Muslims gather together and pray. On Eid-ul-Fitr, they celebrate the end of Ramadan and God's bounty. On Eid-ul-Azha, they sacrifice animals in remembrance of Abraham's (peace be upon him) attempt to sacrifice his son, at the will of God. This sacrifice is also prayer. Every Friday, Muslims gather for another prayer, The Friday Prayer, which is also an important event. You may refer to the two related questions listed at the bottom.

Every day is a day that a Muslim must be a Muslim- there is no single day when Muslims can't worship. Fridays are the most Holy Day for Muslims, and on this day, men go to the Mosque for Jummah.

Every day of the week, a Muslim prays five time a day by kneeling on a mat aligned to face Mecca and reciting the phrase "There is no god but Allah and Mohammed is his prophet" (in Islam), wherever they happen to be at the time. Most try to be at home or somewhere private around the times they know will be prayer times. Friday is a special day of prayer and many Muslims will go to their mosque.
