The Jewish day starts at Sundown where the rest of the Calendars assume Midnight. If Wednesday is the day of Nisan 14, it would be Wednesday evening, which is when Jesus celebrated the Passover with His disciples (also known as the last supper).

Jesus was THE Lamb of God slain for us on the day of Passover (Thursday) giving up His spirit at approximately 1500 hours, and His interment was prior to Sunset (Nisan 15 - beginning of Friday) which was the Feast of unleavened bread, a Holy Convocation. This was followed by Nisan 16 at Sunset (Saturday) a regular weekly Sabbath. At Sunset Saturday was the beginning of the first day of the week, Sunday, the DAY on which Jesus rose, the 17th of Nisan. The 17th would be the Feast of First Fruits. IF you have followed this, then you clearly see that Jesus fulfilled the ONLY SIGN given (Matthew 12:29-30), the sign of Jonah = 3 days & 3 nights in the heart of the earth ~

What day of the week was April 4th 30 ad?

It was a Thursday by our reckoning of a day... The tenth day of Nisan (Abib) in 30 AD is Saturday (the Sabbath) the 30th of March 30 AD… Jesus comes into Jerusalem riding on a donkey… then goes to the Synagogue and turns over the tables of the money changers… Matthew Chapter 21 On Monday... Jesus said "… know that after two days is the feast of the Passover, and the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified. Then assembled together the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders of the people, unto the palace of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas, and consulted that they might take Jesus by subtlety, and kill him. But they said, Not on the feast day, lest there be an uproar among the people. Matthew 26:2-5 ********** Jesus died on the preparation day for the high annual Sabbath of Passover (Jewish Pessach according to the Law of God). According to the Bible, the Jewish calendar, and astronomy, this was Wednesday the 3rd of April, 30 AD whereupon the Passover Lamb (Jesus) was slain just before sunset at approximately 3 PM (the Biblical ninth hour) of the year 30 AD, the same day being the 14th day of Nisan, of the year 3790 albeit 3,790 years after Noah's flood according to the Jewish Lunar calendar. Passover would have begun at sunset (~ 6 PM the Bilical 12th hour) when Passover begins. By Biblical time this is early on the 15th of Nisan which is our Wednesday evening or the 5th day of the week. The Passover lamb was, by Mosaic Law, to be slain and cooked before sunset on the preparation day (i.e. the 14th of Nisan) and the eating thereof with bitter herbs after the sun set as an evening high Sabbath (Passover) meal and this is the start of the 7 day feast of unleavened bread. Jesus subsequently rose from the grave late on the afternoon (after 3 PM the ninth hour and before 6 PM the 12th hour) Saturday, (at the end of the Sabbath) the 17th day of Nisan or the 6th of April 30 AD. The spices were bought on Friday "after the High Sabbath" of Passover on Thursday... Friday was the "weekly preparation day" not to be confused with the Preparation day of Wednesday for the High Sabbath of Passover on Thursady. **************************** Abib ā´bib (,אביב 'ābhībh, young ear of barley or other grain, Exo_9:31; Lev_2:14): The first month of the Israelite year, called Nisan in Neh_2:1; Est_3:7, is Abib in Exo_13:4; Exo_23:15; Exo_34:18; compare Deu_16:1. Abib is not properly a name of a month, but part of a descriptive phrase, "the month of young ears of grain." This may indicate the Israelite way of determining the new year (Exo_12:2), the year beginning with the new moon nearest or next preceding this stage of the growth of the barley. The year thus indicated was practically the same with the old Babylonian year, and presumably came in with Abraham. The Pentateuchal laws do not introduce it, though they define it, perhaps to distinguish it from the Egyptian wandering year. "…God said, let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years…" Genesis 1:14 ************* Kind regards, Terry James terryjames@unmannedaircraft.org

How did the Greeks honor Zeus?

He was supposed to be the creator of mankind. They first held the Olympics for him (though it was not annual and it lasted at most a week, if not less than a day!), and there were many, many, many (ect.) temples and statues for him. Sources-- I take Latin, so I know a little about the ancient Greeks from roman history, and my father has been to Greece before and has seen at least 30 temples still standing today!
