Hi I have three hermit crabs two are mine and one is my sisters they have lived for quite a while and they must be in 80degrees np. :)
Hermit crabs, along with other true crabs, belong to phylum Arthropoda, all of which are invertebrates. Because of their size and other factors, the need for a vertebral column is obviated by the function of their hard exoskeleton.
Hermit crabs can eat both fruits and vegtables but no meat. You can also buy hermit crab food at petstores.Make sure to change there food everyday in the morning.
they can live in diffrent places close to water
No! they need coconut husk bedding/ dirt, normal dirt has bacteria and the hermies dont have that kind in the wild, they live in the caribbean islands. You can also use sand.
Sea-monkeys can live in temperatures from 60 degrees to 80 degrees. Thanks!
It depends on the type of crab you are referring to. If it is a hermit crab, it will eventually die because hermit crabs need seawater (seawater contains iodine and other minerals that support the growth of the crab.) If it is a normal crab (the ones you eat and cook) it can adjust to the environment or the freshwater you were talking about. If crabs can live in land, so do they live in fresh water.
Well it all depends on if you have a male hermit crab. And a female hermit crab. They will have the eggs in water. If you live by a ocean u need salt water. If you don't live by a ocean you need fresh water. Its not that easy because you will need to have a Little bit bigger water bowl so they can have the eggs in there. Well if you see your eggs... They Carrie them under there legs. Kinda like a kangaroo ...Well good luck If you have eggs
Raccoons are able to live at temperatures well below 0 degrees F to over 100 degrees F.
