The Colossus of Rhodes, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, was destroyed by an earthquake in 226 BC. This massive statue, standing over 100 feet tall, was toppled by the quake.
It is not possible to see all the Seven Wonders of the World, as some (such as the "Hanging Gardens of Babylon") have been destroyed.
