went to war with japan which was an axis power to Germany. when germany came into contact with America we helped the Britians and when America beat the Japanese, Germanys power/help decreased. and the nations surrounded Germany and cut off supplys. taking back parts of poland. altthough germany did try to take parts of Russia from Joseph Stalin because of the land mass he did not succeed.
