All Bolsheviks believed that religion was created to distract people. They believed the distraction was directed at poor people to try to fix their situations on earth by offering them perfect euphoria after they die.
the Mensheviks were not as radical as the bolsheviks. they believed in Reformism OR Evolutionary Socialism (an idea that revolution should occur through evolution in the system) unlike the bolsheviks who believed in Revolutionary Socialism ( an idea of revolution through violent uprisings).
