I believe she tried to use roman commanders to help grow and strengthen Egypt's independence. In books people say she is famous for being a power-hungry witch. I'm not sure if this is right but i got books and clues i don't if they'll help me out.

Cleopatra was part of Antony's war for control of the Roman empire. As Queen of Egypt, she had the military and financial resources to help Antony, who was her husband.
