∙ 14y agoColumbusNEVER met anyone in America because he didn't get there. He found natives on an island he called Hispaniola and the natives he called Taino. He thought they would make wonderful slaves in the future. They gave him some items and a parrot, but he wanted gold and they didn't have any. So, he cut their hands off.
