The death of Darwin is recorded by several of his contemporaries - no death bed conversion back to Christianity, no ringing endorsement of Atheism. Just a wise old man at the end of his life. See Link.
"You need not tell me about God for I see him sitting on the throne on which I am to be judged, you need not tell me about hell for I feel the fires around me."
There are some urban legends that claim Darwin recanted his theory on his deathbed and converted to Christianity, but the claim is not well supported by evidence and is generally thought to be false.
Charles Darwin was rumored to have admit that his theory of evolution was wrong, this rumor is in fact a hoax confirmed by his children.
Nothing interesting. He did not renounce evolution or embrace Christianity. That is a myth.
No. This is an idea brought into the world by a Lady Hope, and often cited by creationists, but for which no evidence exists, and which is denied by those closest to Darwin himself.
No he did not recant his beliefs.
No he didn't, that is an "urban legend".
no!
No. There was a rumor circulating that Darwin recanted evolution on his death bed, but that rumor has no foundation or plausible evidence. And even if Darwin ever had said such a thing, it would be meaningless. Galileo recanted is heliocentric theory, under pressure from a religious group. That in no way alters the fact the earth orbits the sun, and not the other way around.

Two of Darwin's daughters (and one of his sons) died before they reached adulthood. I would guess you mean Anne Elizabeth Darwin. She died at age 10, first suffering scarlet fever at age 8 which made her weak, and then later probably contracting tuberculosis. Mary Eleanor Darwin, the other daughter that died young, passed away at only a few weeks old.
There is no evidence this happened. On the contrary, there is an abundance of proof that this was made up after Darwin's death.
If you're asking did Darwin have a "death bed" conversion, then the answer is no. The story originated from Lady Hope who claimed he had such a conversion. Darwin's daughter, who was present at Darwin's death, said that not only was Lady Hope not present, she didn't think that Darwin had ever met Lady Hope.
A:Charles Darwin's daughter Henrietta wrote in the Christianfor February 23, 1922, "I was present at his deathbed. . . He never recanted any of his scientific views, either then or earlier. We think the story of his conversion was fabricated in the U.S.A [Darwin was British]. . . . The whole story has no foundation whatever."
His beliefs changed through his life; he trained as a C of E priest as a student, later in life - largely because of the death of his daughter, he lost his faith and died an agnostic. A lot of fuss has been made over Darwin's reconversion to Christianity on his death bed. See Link for an account of his last moments.
Death, sir
According to Darwin's family his last words were: I am not the least afraid to die.Note that there are a number of urban legends claiming a deathbed religious conversion and/or denial of evolution. They trace back to an individual who spoke with Darwin more than half a year before he died. They claimed Darwin was reading the bible, but they never claimed Darwin converted or denied evolution. The story got distorted over the years. Darwin's wife and children were present at his death and they all firmly deny any conversion or recantation of evolution. Darwin's wife was religious and she would have been happy if he had converted. She clearly wouldn't have lied about it.
