Many northern African countries were invaded by the Germans and Italians. Ethiopia is a good example, it was hit down hard by the Italians.
The countries that were independent durning the European Colonization in Africa was Liberia and Ethiopia
Yes, they were
Virtually all African countries were invaded by Europe during the 17-1900s Age of Imperialism. Egypt and South Africa are two examples of modern-day somewhat-powerful nations that were invaded by Britain in the Scramble for Africa. Ethiopia and Liberia were perhaps the only present-day African nations that were not colonised by Europe in the Imperialistic Era.
it was wrong because many african or other people got hurt during the injustice
True!
Answer this question… Both countries remained independent during the Scramble for Africa.
Ethiopia did never gain its independence. It has always been so. And it was the only county in Africa which has always (always is a bit relative; of course you can go 1000s of years back and the situation was different, but i guess your question was aimed to know more about the europe countries occupying african areas during imerialism) been independent.
Ethiopia got colonialized by Italy during 1936,but it had stoped the Italians during the scramble of Africa 40 years before.During ww2 emperor haile selassie asked the british to help him get back his throne,so the british invaded the east African colonies of Italy, and so in 1941 Ethiopia was back in haile selassies hands. But during these few short years Italy never really built anything in Ethiopia, only a few roads, and culturally there is an ethiopian plate which is similar to lasagna,so it would look like it was never colonized, but after ww2 most European countries helped Ethiopia modernize itself.
