George Washington
George Washington was the first president in the world. Their were many other political leaders in other countries before him, but he was the first to go by "President". Not King, Ruler, Silver Back, Director, or Alpha Male.
Duck: Can't be president George Washington: Not a duck and is president.
He is the only president who was unopposed.
because george washington was the first president and he had to do more things when he started
I believe George Washington was a successful, young officer in the French and Indian War before the Revolution. One history teacher I had described George Washington as 'almost obsessed with duty' in the military and later as president. Other than that, I know he married well to wealthy Martha Washington before the Revolution. Basically, he was a soldier all his life, and then president at the end of his life. Hope this helps. Also, Washington was a military Engineer and Land Surveyor, and surveyed throughout much of the Colonies.
He was a zombie!

Washington was named after our first president, George Washington. Although he was the only president to have a state named for him, many cities have been named after other presidents (Lincoln, Nebraska/Jackson City, Missouri/Madison, Wisconsin/etc)
George Washington hesistated to take his salary at first, but became convinced that refusing salary would set a precedent that might discourage other less wealthy men from running for President.
