Isaac had a constant inquiry on which laws are already set in nature. The discovery of the law did not free Isaac from cycles of birth and death so he is not considered part of the enlightened.

Newton posited the idea of Natural rights, the fact that there were natural forces in the world, and therefore, since there were natural forces, mankind must inherently have natural rights and have free will to do whatever mankind wanted to.

This idea of Natural rights from newton, and the blending of political theories of john Locke and Thomas Hobbes lead to the idea that the Colonists could have every right to over throw english rule in the Americas and establish a new nation governed by the people for the people.

Isaac newton made several truly revolutionary breakthroughs in science, and is remembered as the greatest scientist in history. He did fundamental work in the fields of gravity, optics, and mechanics, and was co-inventor (with Leibnitz) of the mathematical technique of calculus.
