no one really knows what it will be or is like. some people have something called a NDE (near death experience). it means you dye and your heart stops beating and you may even be dead for a couple of days or something. most people who have them wake up and tell of how an angel came and sat with them, or how an angel took them to look at heaven, then took them home. most of these people try to explain what they saw, but have trouble because they say it was so magnificent. like i said, no one living really knows what it's like, but we will know one day... hope i helped. :)

In the gospel of Matthew Jesus likens the kingdom of Heaven to many things:

Mat 13:24................................"The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field;

Matt 13:31 .............................."The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field,

Matt 13:33 .............................. "The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal till it was all leavened."

Matt 13:44 ...............................the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.

Matt 13:45 .............................. the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls,

Matt 13:47 ...............................the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet that was cast into the sea and gathered some of every kind,

Matt 13:52 ................................the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of his treasure things new and old."

Matt 25:1 "Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.

Matt 25:14 "For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them.

Did JESUS want us to be like the Greek?

What Greek do you refer to? Jesus wants us to be like him, as he said in Matthew 5.48. Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Does Jesus refer to God the father?

That is correct, for Christ often prayed to His Father in heaven for guidence. Just like you and I He also has a father who resides in heaven. The bible does not refute this fact but testifies of the truth of it.

Difference between the kingdom of God and the kingdom of heaven?

The terms "kingdom of God" and "kingdom of heaven" are often used interchangeably in the Bible to refer to the rule and reign of God in the hearts of believers. Some interpret "kingdom of God" as a broader concept encompassing all creation under God's rule, while "kingdom of heaven" is seen as focusing specifically on the spiritual realm. Ultimately, both terms point to the same reality of God's sovereignty and the presence of His kingdom among His people.

What factors in Christianity will keep you out of heaven?

The answer to this question is not as simple as it seems. The Kingdom of Heaven is the only route to Heaven and eternal life in God the Father. It is only the unbaptised who lead an evil life who are excluded from the Kingdom of Heaven. All baptised persons enter the Kingdom of Heaven along with those who carry with them the innocence of childhood, those do God's will etc. This does not mean that all who enter the Kingdom of Heaven will eventually attain eternal life in God the Father. It should be noted that the Kingdom of Heaven will be delivered to God the Father on the Last Day when the good and the bad in the Kingdom of Heaven will be separated. "…Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father." (Matthew Ch 13).AnswerI think it is that if you do sin, and you do not repent or ask God to help you truly repent, that will keep you out of Heaven. If you do not fully accept Jesus and God into your heart, that will keep you out of Heaven. What, do you want to go to Hell?

Is the Kingdom of Heaven like earthly kingdoms with citizens and laws?

This is a question which goes to the heart of Christianity and our understanding of it. Jesus claimed to be a King and all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Him. He rules over the Kingdom of Heaven. His laws, the benefits accruing from obeying them and the penalties for disobeying them are set out in Scripture. The Kingdom of Heaven even has the equivalent of a written constitution in the New Covenant. Scripture also says that if we are born of water and the Spirit we enter the Kingdom of Heaven. This is obviously a parallel with our citizenship of the country in which we are born making us entitled to all the benefits which go with it. You could say then that we become citizens of the Kingdom of heaven by birth through baptism. If you read Scripture with the Kingdom of Heaven in mind as the central element then you will see that scripture is like a jig-saw which fits together simply and comprehensively. To expand on above see also question "What are some terms used in Christianity".

What did Jesus and His desciples preach?

It was mostly on love and forgiveness, and repent of your sin. The disciples said more on Jesus Christ. St. Matthew 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Jesus preached the kingdom of heaven; how to get there, how to become one of its subjects, what it is like here in this world, the nature and character of its king, how its subjects should behave toward one another, how its subjects should behave toward non-subjects, benefits and duties of its subjects, etc.
