Copernicus was Galileo Galilei's friend. [No. Copernicus died in 1543, before Galileo was born (1564).] Copernicus proved that the Sun, not the Earth, is in the center of the solar system, the planets, including the Earth, revolving around the Sun.
Copernicus went to Krakow Academy, which was founded in 1364 by Casimir II the Great, King of Poland and was the second oldest university in Central Europe, one of the oldest universities in the world. There he became interested in Astronomy as a result of his contact with Albert Brudzewski, mathematician, astronomer and diplomat. Brudzewski was an inspiring teacher, who had studied the observational astronomy of Georg von Peuerbach, who himself after a stint at the University of Ferara in Italy, went back to teach at the University of Vienna. Brudzewski was also skeptical of the geocentric view of the cosmos and was the first to suggest that the moon travels in an elipse and not a circle. Peuerbach was a probable student of Johan von Gmuenden of Vienna University. Copernicus's other teacher of Astronomy was Domenico Maria Novara di Ferara, a student of Johannes Mueller von Konigsberg, also known as Regiomontanus, another stident of Georg Peuerbach. Copernicus became Domenico's apprentis and got from him Regiomontanus's planetary positions, an important resource for the Revolutionary Theories he proposed.
Copernicus thus came from a long line of illustrious astronomers, and used his position to build up the best astronomical library of his age, that was later taken by the King of Sweden to Uppsala.
Johannes Kepler (December 27 1571 - November 15 1630) was a German mathematician, astronomer and astrologer, and a key figure in the 17th century astronomical revolution. He is best known for his eponymous laws of planetary motion, codified by later astronomers based on his works Astronomia nova, Harmonices Mundi, and Epitome of Copernican Astronomy.
Debble
He was the first ggest that all the planets revolved around the sun.
--
He was not the first to suggest the heliocentric theory but he did revive it. Aristarchus was the first to suggest that all the planets revolved around the sun.
University of Padua, University of Bologna, University of Ferrara, and Jagiellonian.
He invented the heliocentric model which proved the sun was the center of the universe, not earth
He had religious training and was an official at Frauenburg Cathedral.
Copernicus went to Krakow, Prauda, Ferrara, he also went to Wloclawed for elementary school.
Magellan learned astronomy from his studies of celestial navigation, determining the position of his ship by observation of the Sun, Moon and stars.
He created the sun centered model. (the heliocentric theory)
I'm pretty sure you're thinking of Johannes Kepler.
Heinrich Kepler was the father of famous German astronomer Johannes Kepler
galileo's favorite food was girls on a stick

I'm pretty sure you're thinking of Johannes Kepler.
His work on planetary orbits.
Johannes Kepler
The first to discover weed in his era.
No. Johannes Kepler was an astronomer and mathematician.
Johannes Kepler Believed that you would SMD.....
The Kepler Space Mission was named after Johannes Kepler. Johannes Kepler was an astronomy. The Kepler Space Mission is a mission to search for a habitable earth like orbiting star.
Johannes Kepler proposed that these planets orbit the sun in ellipses, not circles. That is why we have Kepler's Law of Planetary Motion.
Johannes Kepler was born on December 27, 1571.
Johannes Kepler never gradueted from college
