When the first U.S. spacecraft landed there because there was a flag posted on the side of the craft. Neil Armstrong planted a flag on a small staff soon after landing as well. This was on July 20th 1969.
If you are referring to the first moon landing by Apollo 11, you see Neil Armstrong first followed by Buzz Aldrin.

The moon landing was very real, for one simple reason 1. If you have a good enough telescope you can look at the moon and see on the surface Neil Armstrong's footprint, and since there is nothing to blow it away, it will stay there until a meteor smashes on it.
No in matter of fact , he didn't bcoz as the book `We Never Went To The Moon' there are no gud points that can proof that he had gone to moon.
