Pocahontas was a Native American (Powhatan Tribal member) who married an Englishman. Though not her, or her husband's intention, the story of their marriage has been fictionalized, and sensationalized, to represent an attempt to bridge the cultural gap between "white" and "red" societies.

Pocahontas was a famous explorer and she met another famous explorer named John. I hope this helps... =)
Pocahontas's brother was in the Powhatan tribe
sent food for the struqqlinq colonie.
Pocahontas helped others by giving food, and fresh water. She also married John Rolfe made peace.
She didn't help us today but she led Louis and Clark on their expedition
I would surmise just to survive and help her family.
She told her dad(the tribe leader) not to kill John Smith. Also some say Pocahontas and John Smith went into a relationship.
There are 2 movies. Pocahontas and Pocahontas II
