Normalcy. President Warren G. Harding wanted the USA to return to normalcy, a pre WWI way of running the country, without the USA being involved in foreign events, and being in the League of Nations, which President Woodrow Wilson wanted the world to run after WWI. President Harding was an isolationist. He could not turn back time, and have the world, (or the nation) go back to having things they way they were before WWI, and he died in office of natural causes, and is not remembered for much except for the Teapot Dome scandal which took place while he was President.
