Ramses II was a great Pharaoh who live between 1229 - 1213BC.

Ramses II built many temples like Abu temple which stood on the upper Nile. It was built in honour of the God amun, Re-harakhty and Ptah. Ramses also led Egypt into a period of peace and prosperity. It is said that Ramses II had several wives and it is rumoured to have fathered up to 120 children.

Ramses II (the Great) impacted Egypt because he ended the feud (a war had been going on for 20 yrs or more) between the Egyptians and the Hittites (they made a treaty which specified that neither of them could invade the others territory).

Ramses contributed to the economy by being Ramses and he had 200 wives and 96 sons and 60 daughters and he outlived his first 13 herirs. his thirtheenth son was already 60 when he came to the throne. #:) ;)
