The play was very original and emotional because of the ending that happened to Romeo and Juliet. It was a love story that had suicide mixed into it which didn't make it forgettable. Also, the play was written by the famous playwright William Shakespeare.

They met and then got married within a day, Romeo gets sentenced to banishment hours after the wedding, they have a few hours together the same night and Romeo leaves at the crack of dawn, never to speak with her again and you think they had spare time? Oy. They were lucky they had time to breathe.
