What was the name Ted Bundy gave to his alter ego?

Bundy refered to this 'other self' as The Entity. The Entity committed all the murders, the monster inside himself. He had a strange way of speaking in the third person. So this lets Ted off the hook and he could still look at himself and think he was a great guy.

What type of defense was used for Ted Bundy?

It is true that a man that defends himself has a fool for a client but Ted Bundy was so confident and egotistical he did not see the danger he was in. I think the major thrust of his own defense was mistaken identity. But even he could not explain the trail of dead bodies left in his wake.

Did Ted Bundy have a fair trial?

Bundy did get a fair trial but he broke the cardinal rule of lawyers by defending himself. As a law student Bundy certainly knew that a lawyer that represents himself has a fool for a client. I firmly believe that this is the result of Bundy's immense ego, a condition that he never recovered from.
