There was no specific "school" as such in Tudor time. Only those children of aristocracy were formally taught anything. In the main it was the church in the form of Monks that did most of the teaching. The place of education was normally the home of the family.
I think it would of been pretty hard for a child some kids at young age where still wipped poor them :(
