What did a cat in Egypt represnt?

In ancient Egypt, cats were know as one of the many "gods" They were supposedly protectors sent from the afterlife to protect them. Therefore, they get alot of respect and great burials. In their coffins, they put mice for the cats in the afterlife so they have something to play with and eat.
Did you know... In acient Egypt, after a cat died, the Egyptians shaved their eyebrows of at the funeral. I dunno why though. - Kittylover2422
