it would be different through the ages and depend on stature and class;

early on : Mud huts fashioned from nile Mud and straw to hold it together with soil floors, sometimes constructing with clay bricks if there was a source nearby

Later on : Richer people would have had a white plaster to paint the outsides of original frames or build enitrely new ones. they would have had nicer stone floors and weaved carpets from reeds etc. Richer people would have had Alabaster stone pillers etc. and larger houses made sometimes of painted or plastered sandstone for granduer and decoration etc.

Some Nubians still live in the Mud constructs today, i know because ive been there and seen it.
