She wore a red petticoat under a loose, dark grey gown of damask trimmed in fur and a mantle of ermine. Her dark hair was bound up in a white linen coif and she wore a customary headdress.

However, Anne did not wear the French hood which she was most know to wear to her execution. She instead chose the more demure English gable hood which would be worn most notably by Jane Seymour. This seems to be an error in Alison Weir's book on Anne Boleyn, but the primary sources that describe the execution make clear that Anne wore the gabled hood.
