Well because they were Jewish. The Frank family were caught hiding and all of them were sent to concentration camps. Otto Frank, who was Anne's father, was the only one who survived.
During world war 2. Anne died in 1945 in the Bergan- Belsum concentration camp.
I believe on 1945, that's when they took her there.
Since she was in a concentration camp at the time, I don't think that they would really have done much. The most they would have done was take her to the camp nurse, and leave the nurse to do what she could.
I can not believe that some people did not know this! i am a 12 year old girl and i even know this! Yes Anne Frank Tried to take her Diary to the Camp. but when you got to the camp they said that you had to leave your stuff in a room and that when you are leaving you can have it back. of course .. you never did come back most of the time . I hope i have answerd your question. Niamh 20th-march-2009 by the way .. i only know all this about world war two because i am in the middle of doing a project on it
Anne Frank, including, her whole family except the father, died in hunger and painful diseases.Basically, the disease was contagious and other people in the camp had it from before. The disease was some kind of parasite growing inside the body, lice i the body.Anne Frank could not survive but she was known and was kept in the hearts of several individuals around the world. -Farin(MS 217)8th Grade
Take a guess. (Hint: It was Anne Frank)
Anne Frank was born on June 12, 1929 and died on March 31, 1945. Anne Frank would have been 15 years old at the time of death or 86 years old today.
Anne Frank took ballet lessons at a studio in Amsterdam. She enjoyed dancing and considered it a form of escape from the difficulties of living in hiding during World War II.
Anne Frank did not take her diary with her to the concentation camp. She left it at her house and her dad later received it after the war was over. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Yes, the statement above is true...but to the point. No, other diary's were found, although none near as famous of Anne Frank's due to it being published.
