Some dinosaur fossils show evidence of cannibalism. This includes Majungasaurus, Tyrannosaurus, and Allosaurus. Coelophysis fossils show no evidence of cannibalism, although they were long thought to be cannibals because lizard remains in one individual's stomach were falsely identified as young Coelophysis.

∙ 10y agoMost dinosaurs were herbivores, and these were definitely not cannibals. It is unknown how many carnivorous dinosaurs were cannibalistic. We do know that a few, such as Majungasaurus, Allosaurus, and Tyrannosaurus, at least scavenged on the remains of their own kind. Whether they hunted and killed them is unknown.

Well, it depends. many fish eaters, like Baryonyx, Spinosaurus, Suchomimus, etc, probably ate fish only. smaller, more picky dinosaurs, like dilophosaurus, probably scavenged, or hunted small lizards. Dilophosaurus actually probably ate bugs too, like beetles, and large dragonflies called meganeura. For other carnivores, like most tyrannosaurids and dromaeosaurids hunter their food. Tyrannosaurus was thought to be a scavenger and a hunter. Velociraptor and others like Utahraptor, and Dakotaraptor hunted dinosaurs bigger than themselves. Dinosaurs like majungasaurus hunted larger herbivores and actually were cannibals. Some good-sized carnivores hunted early rodents.
