They were worshiped in Egypt. The people thought of them then as Gods and guardians of the underworld. In American and some other cultures they were mostly revered as exellent mouse control for barns and homes. The tigers had then transformmed into domestic cats from the man and they were made

Wrong. Wild dogs eat meat, they are carnivores. Humans took in dogs by giving them scraps when they hung around, later left overs and as time went about and dogs became pets, dog food was developed.
Dogs being much like wolves and coyotes in their eating habits will eat just about anything to survive. They might include mice or other rodents, some vegetable matter and just about anything else they could catch or find to eat. Domestic dogs would have been fed meat and table scraps before commercial dog food was available.

Nobody living knows. The history of dogs has not been proven, we're not even entirely positive when dogs first began to be domesticated, but what we do know is that it happened way before written history, so what people called dogs, if we even where smart enough to call them anything at all, before domestication is something that likely will never be known.
Cats were domesticated before recorded history, just as dogs were. No one really knows the who, where or when of the domestication of cats and of dogs.
Dogs originally came from wolves. Primitive men domesticated this wild wolves and they became the domesticated dogs we now have.
Dogs (and wolves) were domesticated in or before Neolithic times, so no one society can be considered the first to have "owned" dogs.
