dr.barnado helped children by giving them a home to sleep in. he would give the children a home if the wear a street child,orphan or a child who is looking for a home. he would rpovide them warmth, shelter and food. he would not beat them up, as beating was a very popular punishment in the victrian times. it would'nt have cost a single shilling (penny), to stay. barnado made his first care home , by asking the rich people to give a little donation to build the homes. he would help children around the world. it was called the "barnado charity". the charity still goes on now.
