She didn't only free over 700 slaves, she worked as a slave herself in childhood to adulthood. She led slaves on the Underground Railroad, it is a way of getting up north where slavery is illegal. She stopped and hid people in houses and went across rivers on boats and also was being hunted by her master. (the person who owned her as a slave)
