Jesus Christ not only gives God's Word to us humans; he is the Word. The Logos is God, begotten and therefore distinguishable from the Father, but, being God, of the same substance (essence).

Matthew 7:24, 25 - "Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock." [NKJV] That is what he has spoken.

Why is jesus' word compared to a rock?

Everything Jesus said was unquestionable and true. You cannot question whether a rock is a rock or not, whether it is sturdy or not. That makes Jesus' word and a rock very similar!

If my parents tell me not to listen to preachers must i obey them?

You must obey your parents, while you're with them (living with them as a child, not when an adult). However, if you pray for Jesus to show you an answer or to make another way for you to hear his word, then He will. It is wonderful to hear a preacher preach God's living word to us, but there is something better! The greatest way to hear God's living word is by His Holy Spirit. Ask for Jesus (He is God) to give you His spirit, (the Holy Spirit) so that the Holy Spirit can minister to you the living words of the bible. The Holy Spirit is nothing to be afraid of, it is only the spirit of Jesus, (which means it is Jesus) coming into our body, mind, & soul to live with us forever! When you have His spirit, He will lead & guide your life & will help you understand the bible when you read it, because the bible is a living word that needs the living spirit of Jesus to interpret it. Preachers are nice to listen to, but you only need Jesus & His spirit. One day when you grow up, you can listen to preachers, & even be a preacher, if God desires you to be :)

Will the circuit be completed when Jesus comes according to Jehovah's Witnesses?

The word 'circuit' is not a Biblical word, so you will need to define what you mean by circuit.

What is this inner light people keep talking about and can you actually see it?

In my belief, many refer to Jesus Christ as "The Light of the World". When you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, His "Spirit" or "Light" comes into your heart. You do not "see" the "light" per say. The "light" is "seen" in the way you live. If you are living according to God's Word, The Bible, people will see a difference in you. That difference is the "Light" of Jesus in your heart.

What is the difference in the living bible and the living translation?

The Living Bible paraphrase is a thought for thought translation on each verse rather than a word for word and written by Kenneth Taylor. The New Living Translation is more of a word for word translation, where the Hebrew or Greek is difficult to translate into English the translators have used thought for thought to help make Gods Word easier to understand. No Bible is an exact word for word as there is no (and or the etc.) in Hebrew or Greek. Both these Bibles honour Jesus Christ.
