The Ku Klux Klan is technically a group of men who believe in white supremacy, white nationalism and anti-Immigration. Back in the old days they were best known for wearing white masks and robes to hide their identity. They often attacked black members of the Loyal Leagues and intimidated southern Republicans, along with Freedmen's Bureau workers.
However, by 1868, two years after the Klan's creation, its activity was beginning to decrease.
