The best way to find out is to look at pictures. Don't look for "Shakespearean Costume" (you could get anything); try "Elizabethan Costume" or "Jacobean Costume"

People at the time considered that a woman parading about the stage to be gazed at by a bunch of men was indecent and obscene.
It is because Women were not allowed acting on stage. It was against their little rule.
The men would wear a leggings during the summer. And the ladies wold wear light dresses. During the winter the men and women would wear heavy and warm clothing

No men did not wear tights in medieval times. This is just for plays and movies. They did how ever wear leggings made of wool, linen or leather.
Men cannot wear gold jewelery, only women can. Doing it during Ramadan is even worst.
