During 1776-1783 men and women wore different outfits that were very casual. Women wore gowns, designed jackets, redingotes,underware that came all the way up to their armpit, golden high heeled shoes,and many hairstyles and headgears. Men wore narrow coats,sleeve shirts, stockings,breeches, low heeled leather shoes, and powdered wigs and head gear.
