in Sumerian times women could wear hair down but most women braided it and wore it up
the women shave all there hair off and they only wear blankets on them the kind of material the blankets are is the hair of the goats.
They had bandannas in their hair with there hair curly.

Not all some are comfortable with their natural hair but they can get extensions done so can white women. Some black women wear weaves this is weaved into the hair. Personally I think there is nothing wrong with it.
