Many ancient Roman buildings and Villas contain vast areas of mosaics in floors, walls, and ceilings. They show things like lions and tigers, people doing things, and flowers with vines. Made with small cut gem stones they are colorful and can be fairly large.
some people consider it Greek and some consider it Roman. but i think its Greek and Roman. in the dark ages, the Greek and Roman were together and combined Roman art and Greek art together and made byzantine art. until Rome fell into the dark. >:(
